Hand of God Soccer Project is an orphanage outside Kampala, Uganda, founded about 20 years ago by Kaku-ngulu Ggobango Isma-el and his sister Haida. They are the boots on the ground and perform the day-to-day operations and care for the needs of the kids.

The orphanage currently cares for the needs of over 60 kids. All who have been homeless or were given to the ministry. The latest was a baby girl who was left at their front gate on March 4th, 2026. Without this orphanage, most of these kids will die in the streets within a matter of months and years.

The goal of the orphanage is to eventually be self-supporting with the use of their unique location, quality of their Soccer pitch and views, and the fervor with which the people of Uganda enjoy the sport of Soccer. Our goal is to start having a soccer camp that will have fees attached for those who will be attending in the 3rd quarter of 2026.

We believe this could be a unique opportunity to care for many more kids. Kaku is a good coach who has been able to take his kids to several tournaments and compete at the highest levels in their division.
